XIV National Congress of Neurology

From 07th - 10th of May in ‘’Golden Sands’’ resort is held the XIV National Congress of Neurology with international participation. For four days leading Bulgarian neurologists and authoritative specialists from USA, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Serbia, Greece and Turkey participated in plenary lectures, satellite symposium and poster sessions and discussed the latest diagnostic approaches and therapeutic opportunities in Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, ischemic stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, pain syndromes, rare hereditary diseases and other socially significant neurological diseases. PMA lectured on „Web based electronic information system’’ and for its main purpose to help medical professionals and patients with multiple sclerosis”.

For a second year in the program of the Congress is included nursing session on „Traditions and innovations in neurology healthcare.” In this session is presented SmartMS system and it is discussed the place and role of information technology at its benefits for the quality of healthcare for people with multiple sclerosis.
